What Remains With Us (work in progress)
In 2024, I lost my 18-year-old brother in a sudden accident. Since then, I have been photographing my family and his classmates during their final high-school year, usually a season defined by milestones such as prom, graduation, stepping into adulthood. Through their gestures, objects, and shared commitments, I trace how they continue to carry him with them.
The work grows through collaboration with everyone involved. It is an ongoing search for meaning in the aftermath of loss, and an invitation to acknowledge a form of grief that is often overlooked, yet deeply universal.
